New Boots

Hey i just ordered the ThrityTwo lashed boots and when i get them what is a good way (besides riding)to break them in i haven't gotten a new pair of boots in like 5 years so i don't know any ways

suggestions?

Just wear them around the house, done up the same tightness that you'd have them done up for riding, for a few hours at night for a couple of nights prior to riding. Do the occasional squat, lunge etc in them to get the boot moving. It'll free them up and break them in nicely.

There's only 2 ways: ride 'em or go jogging in them.

you have to ride in them. wearing them around the house does nothing but make your toes go numb

+123...wearing them in the house is a waste of time. i wore my new boots for a few hours at night and the day i took them on the hill was when the breaking in started.

Interesting. I wear mine around the house to wear them in preseason, and have never had trouble with numb toes. Thats for this pair and the last. Ive had them with heat and non-heat moldable insoles and never run into numbness.

i have never had numbness...but the stiffness is hard to break in around the house. unless your doing some gymnastics.
