Default Need new boots! Nike?Salomon?

Hey guys!

So I just came home from a trip and I just cant stand the 32 Lashed fasttrack boots I currently got...
They have always made my leg and feet hurt so bad, even my 5 year old standard laced boot is better.
Like, my heel is lifting and such with them....

So what boot would you guys recommend me?
I do ride all mountain, and my foot have a slightly thin ancle, and id say medium wide at the front off my foot.

Thank you

Everyone is going to tell you to get boots that fit. My 32 Lashed are fucking tits.

After all this pain you going to buy based on internet recommendations? Go try them on.

Most boot discussion is moot, either buy from someone who knows how to fit, goto a bootfitter, whatever, its a specific and important process. The only useful information here is some basic brands to shoot for.

Yes Nike, Salomon, also try K2 and Burton. Maybe you NEED BOAS or maybe you need to go BACK to laces.

Luck.

^ agreed try on as many boots as possible and pick the one(s) that fit the best until you narrow it down to the one that fits the best

I picked up a pair of 2012 Celsius Cirrus and they have the best heel hold I've ever had in a boot. The new liner lace lock is superior to anything I have ever seen before. I've always had a problem with heel lift because I have skinny ankles. I'd recommend these. But make sure they're 2012 or newer, because older models don't have this locking mechanism.

Yea not trying to be harsh, theres just no magic trick here. Nothing is worse than hurting feet or boots that fail to give proper response or support. The rest of gear buying is alot more forgiving, boots, not so much.
