Help me settle a debate
Nike AF1 boot. Laces and THEN velcro strap OR velcro strap and THEN laces.
I say laces and then strap, but my wife who works in the shoe industry says strap and then lace up the boot.
Either way I just want her to stfu.
I use ZF1's and I go laces first, strap second on the inside, stuff it, then laces first, strap second to lock everything down on the outside.
If you went strap first on the outside, the laces go over the strap and looks ugly as hell.
In the pic it looks like the velcro goes over the laces, but it makes no sense. Why would you lace something and then use a better technology to make it tighter? I've got rollerblades with ratchet straps, velcro and laces, and I do them up in that order. The straps make it fit, velcro makes it tight, and the laces are the last line of defence.
