Default DC Rogue vs Burton TWC

Hey all, it's been a while since I have been on the forum but I am back to get some opinions from you guys.

I am going to purchase some new boots and have kinda narrowed it down between DC Rogan and Burton TWC boots. I have been snowboarding for about 5 years now so would consider myself an intermediate rider. Unfortunately because I am in the middle of corn country I don't have the resources to try on boots so I am going off of reviews and opinions. I am also college student which has made me really frugal with my money haha

The reason I was thinking of going with the TWC boots is because they have some kind of shrink technology to help reduce footprint to cut down on toe and heel drag for bigger feet that are on the edge of being on a wide board. Besides that I am just looking for some boot that will allow me to have an enjoyable time in the park, which is where I plan on spending most of my time this season.

If anyone has one of these boots it would be nice hearing about the weight, flex, and comfort of these boots. Or if anyone has a good suggestion for boots around the $120 price range I would be open to hear.

Thanks

Or at least does anyone know if the shrink technology on the TWC boots help reduce heel and toe drag significantly like it says?

I ride TWC boots.

They are smaller for sure. However, I did not really compare the footprint with other models. All I can say is that I wear size 12, have a wide board and could totally have bought a non-wide and be ok.

I have about 30 days on them and they still look new. I bought them because they were the most comfortable (for me) traditional lace boots under $300.

If you buy online make sure the store has a good return policy. You NEED to be 100% comfortable in your boots.

Oh, and those 2 will fit very differently. Burtons are the most comfortable for my feet and I just can't stand being in DCs.

It all depends on your feet!
