ThirtyTwo Lashed Women's FT.
So, we ordered these for my sister about 2 weeks ago and we've had them here for awhile. I was checking them out because she has been at college out of city for awhile and when they first got here about 1 week ago, but since they're a Christmas present they're wrapped up until the 25th. But the reason why I'm asking this/putting this on the forum is because I never had time to mess with that weird lacing they have on them. I'm sure my sister and I will get it 1 minute after opening it on Christmas, but I was curious, and didn't want to wait. And one last thing is, is this a good boot? This will be her 3rd year I think and she is 19 years old. Has any one had expirence or someone you knew had/have them? Thanks!

I have a pair and think they're a good boot, but the most important thing to determine if your sister will like them is if they fit her feet well.
As for the FT lacing, I rotate my foot at the ankle, in both directions, while tightening (pulling up) on the inner lace tab. I find that gets the ankle area nice and snug. Then slide the tab down to lock it in. You'll figure it out. Then for the outer laces, I pull the outside lace tab first, flex forward at the ankle a bit, straighten, then do the inside tab the same way. |
