Exus V. highback

Considering a pair of ThirtyTwo Exus boots. They each have a carry loop thing on the back, and I have a pair of Union bindings, so I'd like to know if the loops compress on the inside of the highbacks or if they're high enough to stay above it.

The STW Boa boots and Binary Boa boots also have the same loops on the back. Does anyone have a pair of these and a pair of Union bindings?
I know it's an odd question, but this was a problem with my last boots- the loops were too low and I had to make sure the one on my back boot was flat every time I strapped in otherwise it would bend awkwardly on the inside of the highback. Hopefully the ones on ThirtyTwo's boots are high enough so that this wouldn't be a problem.
