I got a DC ceptor in the beginning of this season, and they fit my foot very well.

However, after a 2 days trip, I found many small holes on my sole.... thats very weird. I ask one of my friend who also wear DC boots and same dakine stomp, he said he also some some holes, but not so many like mine...

Just want to figure if other people also had similar problem here... I am thinking about return it, since it may be a quality issue of the boots itself.

Yep, that stomp has the same spikes as the one I posted. That's what it'll do to your boot soles. Doesn't matter. If you want the extra grip, just deal with it.

I already throw the dakine in to trash can... I know it is nice for extra grip, but it didnt happen to my previous burton boots, but on this DC boots.

Those DC's may not have an actual rubber sole. It may be that foam shit. It makes the boots a little lighter, but that shit sucks for durability and for hiking. Actually, looking at your pics again, that's exactly what it is. If you look at the black and green portions that are actual rubber they're not all chewed to shit like the white portion.
