Finding a bootfitter

There's a ton of advice on here, but I think I'd just as soon leave it to an expert than do it myself. I googled bootfitting, and came up with "America's Best Bootfitters", which sounds suspicious to me. They did, however, list Joe's Sporting Goods, which I know to be a good shop. Is this ABB a legit orginization, are there others places that register or certify bootfitters, or is it really more word of mouth?

ABB is a title given to a shop that pays for it.

That's kinda what I thought. So, is there a legit way to find a guy?

Walk in pick a boot up and say "is this the best boot" and see what they say. The answer you want is "the best boot is the one that fits your foot".
