Hey all,
I have a dilemma with finding a nice boot for me. I wanted to try to get a decent post season deal, but my local shop has no deals going on (Still full price for 13 gear!) also their selection is not the greatest. I wanted to try Vans Aura, and Thirty Two Binary BOA. I like the BOA boots a lot, they are just so easy to lace. So they didnt have either of those boots. I feel like trial and error with buying online is crazy, but it may be my only option. Have any of you guys bought boots without trying them on or previously owning the boot? |

I buy most of my boots online, mostly because my local shop has limited quantities, or doesn't carry a brand that I ride. It is a risk, I've had good luck and I've had bad. Sent back and exchanged a few boots. But in the end its' worth it to get the boot you want.

I recently bought 32 TM-Two's online. I wear a size 11 Burton boot usually, and the 32's supposedly are sized differently. I ordered a 10.5 (I wear 10 wide shoes) and it fits me pretty much perfectly IMO. The footbeds aren't the greatest, but the boot itself fits me great. Almost like it was made just for me. When you order tell them you're not sure of the size and they should give you free return shipping. Maybe I got lucky, and I'm sure there are others who haven't been, but if you like the boot go for it.

I have a 10.5 2011 K2 Maysis right now. The liner never packed out and my left foots toes get squashed. I'd probably go with 11s just to make sure I have enough boot. |

Just ordered two pairs from Zappos. My problem is local store selection sucks, on top of that my 7.5 feets are hard to find already.
Zappos, Endless.com, Evo, Backcountry. Just find what you want and try it around the house. |
