Want to get someone’s opinion on the Burton X8 2008 model. I usually use only one board, so I wanted to get someone’s opinion whether this is a good all around board. I'm not a beginner rider, I have about 8 years experience, but I don't ride the park that much. I mostly ride freeride\freestyle in the Alps, cause I’m from Europe. I've never ridden Burton board before; my last board was an Option. The reason I’m asking is that I have a chance of getting a discount the 2008 model.
Anyway is this a good board to get (taking into account the discount ))) for all around riding or should i consider getting something like the Custom board (which will be more expensive) or something else? Max |

My friend just lent out his Custom X to another friend of mine for the season, so all he has left is his new X8 (sexy by the way). He loves they board because it is like a noodle but maintains its stiffness and here on the east coast you need some noodleness to prevent boredom. He is going to take it to Vail with us too. As for you I think it would probably be a good board he has been riding for 10 years, honeslty he got it to do boarder cross this year in college so you should be set. I would take the cool new EST system bindings over the custom especially if it is cheaper. Let us know what you do! Keep shredding those Alps you luck bastard!
