im looking at a new board for the comming season i was going to get a burton custom ICS. but i just saw the burton custom rocker. and i like the ease of butters and stuff on it. i ride mainly park and mountain freestyle. tricking off of ledges n stuff. but where i ride is mainly man made snow cuz of our weather so it gets icy alot. and i was wondering how does the rocker do in ice?

I got last years custom ics, love it. rocker just isnt for me. as for boots i dont have any experience with dc boots, but I have the burton ozones and they are sick. sow comfortable, light, and they have a smaller footprint (good for me, size 14 feet). Yes they have the speed laces, but its the upgraded version, i like em so thats my recommendation. If you insist on regular laces I'd check out the 32 lashed or ride deuce. also have you looked into boots with boa?

I don't like rocker because I ride in PA. All I ride is hardpack, and even though I ride park most of the tie I just don't feel as stable hitting bigger jumps on a rockered board compared to camber. And whenever I decide to freeride a little bit, rockered boards just won't hold a turn as good as camber.
