Burton bindings C60 2010

So I bite on the sierra dump burton sale a few days ago and Just got them today from fedex ppl. I was always amazed by how can you make something in snowboarding and sell it for high price. at 429 I can't find myself a good reason to buy it, however for 130 I decided to give'em a shot, just like I bite on the 220 dollars burton SLX boots, I think discount sale is really a good bait to fish me.

quitting the BS, I took them out from the box and start looking at them. To be honest, my first impression were pretty bad, does not gave me the impression of a 400 dollars bindings, the highback is kinda loose, can swing them left and right, i thought these should be really stiff... Didn't see how CARBONyzed is the high back either, in my opinion it's just plastic all over. the straps has very cheap "cushioning". Haven't seen anything impressive at all yet. When you buy some of the most expensive bindings of the market, you are expecting the material to impress u, at least.

Since I haven't ride it yet, So I can't comment on how they perform. Will take them out this weekend and see what's going on. After all, it's the performance that determine the products way more than what it was built by. I am really looking forward to see how the "BESTs" of burton perform... (SLX+C60)

I hope y'all burton lovers don't bash at me, it's just my impression on the materials of c60 yet, maybe i'll drop the biases by being impressed about the response and comfortability.

i felt the same way after i purchased the '09 C60's. They look cheaply built, but mine held together great and were super stiff. Great for bombin down the slopes but terrible for the terrain parks. My feet would kill me after a day of riding in the park because the bindings had such little flex. I had them mounted on the Never Summer heritage board. (all-mountain board)

I upgraded to the Skate Banana with the Burton Exile's and its a world away from the C60's. 10x the comfort and way better flex. Im sure the board helped a bit as well but, I kept the same boots (Thirty-Two Ultralights ---> AMAZING BOOTS!)

I have a set of 07 C60's on a Rome Notch (my pow stick) and 2010 C60's on my Arbor Coda (all mtn. stick). I've been extremely happy with them. Very responsive binding. I've been tempted to buy a couple of other pairs of bindings from other companies like Rome, Flux, or Union, but Burton bindings are all I've ever ridden, so I really don't have anything else to compare them to. I also bought my 2010 C60's from sierrasnowboard.com back in March. Got them for $214.00

to stichotik: I have a mine mounted on heritage as well lol, what a coincidence. yeah my feet are gone away after 1 day of shredding... I think these are just too advanced for me, maybe need something else.

to kwoodshredder: I'm glad you liked yours. but their responsiveness is way too much for my skillz haha

C60's aren't for everyone. Super stiff and super light. I'm not a fan of the C series Burton bindings at all. Hell, I even hate the cartels. Missions are okay. CobraSharks are awesome though.
