I'm pretty sure only burton pants will zip up with the jacket. As far as the helmet goes, your best bet is to take your goggles down to a local shop and try them on with their helmets. You probably don't wanna be buyin a helmet without trying it on anyways.
yeah i looked at a few burton pants, but apparently they have 2 be matching pants to be able to zip up perfectly. Also I will do the store thing for the helmet as soon as my stuff arrives via group shipping
edit;so I called burton 2 double check and u need 2 get last years pants for the zip to be on the pants as well.
They don't have to be matching for sure. I have 2 burton jackets and 2 pairs of burton pants and only 1 set is matching and they all zip up when i switch it around.
last years so it would be 09/10. That sucks if burton did disco that zipper system for 2011, i never once had snow go up my back because of it. I've had jackets with the traditional powder skirt but they still let shit up.
I just put a post up for a pair of Burton Stagger Pants in the for sale section. They have the link to pant zipper interface. I have the Burton Field pant and My AK 2L Turbine jacket zips to both without problem. All the Burton pants with linkzip will connect with each other.
They are brand new in the factory bag with tags but they are size Large. I'm size 36 and they fit but a little snug. I could wear them though no problem. They are sweet and I'm so jealous now that I just bought the Burton Field pant. Weighs like 10 pounds lol and the stagger are so light.
I am off to Japan for a month in the powder and I got 2011 Burton AK Cyclic jacket but it doesn't have the link zip for the Jacket/Pant interface. I know I can just use the clips but I'm planning to be in some pretty deep powder. Does anyone know where I can get a powder skirt I can zip into the jacket (size L) that has the link zip for the pants?? Happy to buy one new or used.
