I need advise on a board purchase. Currently I'm riding a Ride Havoc 156 and I love it. It's solid and fast, great on jumps and has excellent pop. Only problem I have with it is it's a bit to stiff for buttering, etc.
I'm thinking of purchasing a Burton Custom. The question is, how does the Custom feel? and is it really worth it, to go for custom or should i stick with the Havoc?
Thanks in advance.

You know, whether or not it is worth it is kind of a matter of opinion. The Ride Havoc is certainly by no means an inferior aboard so I would say put some time on it until you beat it up really good or find a feature in another board you like. With that said, the Burton Custom is one hell of a ride. What you would really be getting in upgrading to a custom is a little more flex and torsion with a super fast WFO base. This to me is something that would be nice, but not a necessity unless it is getting close to time for a new board.

But then again, I am a board whore and would probably buy it even if I didn't need it if the right deal came along.
