WTS Sierra Crew 158 + Med White Burton Cartels $125 total

Anyone interested in picking up a lightly used (5x) Sierra Crew 158 with some white 2010 White Medium Burton Cartels? I'll post pics if anyone actually shows some interest. Basically I've moving and this board has to be gone soon. I'll basically do $100 for both + whatever shipping is, so maybe like $125 total. It's old stuff, but the Sierra Crew is a great board and the cartel are solid bindings. Let me know if you are interested.

I think if you want to see/generate the interest? You'll really need to post the pics. I mean, it sounds good and all. But anyone here will surely want to see if it looks good as well.

too bad its not like 2 years newer I'd jump all over it just for the cartels.

OP nothing wrong with your pricing or anything its just that the interest for 5 year old snowboard gear is pretty low considering the discounts you can get on 2013 gear. luck.

100 bucks for a decent board and good bindings sounds like a good deal to me. I have upgraded but used to ride a 158 sierra crew the board tears it up all over from the east coast to my trips out west. Sure there are better boards but I was able to keep up with my friends on burton, never summer, gnu, ride boards everywhere but the trees and that's just because i am not so good at glades, especially tight east coast trees. If you still have the board try posting it on craigslist. I kept mine for an early/late season rock board.

A board is not going to be the reason you can or can't keep up with your friends.

It may not be the main or only reason but i couldn't keep up in my omatic even if it was freshly waxed and pointed straight down the hill. It just wasn't fast enough.

The type of base does figure into how fast you can go. The size does too. But I've found these differences are usually minimal.

Yep. People act like some boards are inherently way faster than others. It's generally just not all that true if you're comparing apples to apples (snow conditions, wax, etc). For the most part, if you point that bitch straight down the hill, you're gonna go fast. The differences might come into effect if you're racing and different boards will certainly handle better or worse as the speed increases, but that's not a function of the base.
