Default FS: 2009 Burton Operator 156 w/ K2 CTC Bindings $300

Hello, I am selling a 2009 Burton Operator 156cm with Large K2 CTC Bindings. The board and bindings are practically brand new as the board was only used once. I have the items up for auction on ebay with pictures and if anyone would be interested I would end the auction early for you. Buyer pays for shipping as well.

Burton Operator Snowboard 156cm Only Used Once Mint Condition K2 Bindings | eBay

You can email me at cavortingchicken@yahoo.com or email me for my cell and you can give me a ring if you're interested. Thank You, Alex

Default $300 starting bid?

Well you aren't going to get much luck or love around here.

If you are into snowboarding, welcome.

If you are just selling old shit, don't let the door hit you on the ass.

That setup is at least 6 years old, not worth more than $150, more like $100.

Those bindings sucked at full price new.

Thanks, I just saw one under completed auctions that sold for $200 that was used for 3 years. So well see, again its pretty much brand new and the technology isn't leaps and bounds beyond where it was 6 years ago.

Looking for a used set up for my bro...and damn you got a high starting bid for a 6 year old board, used once or not. Whether tech is "leaps and bounds" beyond what it was 6 years ago doesn't really matter...the tech DOES advance each season for the most part. I personally would shoot for the used 3 year old cheaper board (considering it doesn't have any damage) rather than the more expensive 6 year old board used once. But that's just me. But it seems most prices on ebay are inflated. Probably why stuff sits on there forever without selling.

Back to geartrade for me...

Actually there have been significant leaps and bounds in the last 6 years with tech, but none of it is important for a beginner. All that person needs is comfy boots that don't have slop, bindings that fit said boots, and 2 edges.

It's to bad the backcountry had to change their return policy. Geartrade has never been the same.

Yes, I know...I was saying that whether it's leaps and bounds are just some small advancements here and there, that 6 years makes difference - new or not.

And my brother isn't a beginner per se...he's a better skier than a snowboarder and tends to ski more often since he has most of the equipment. He will rent here and there if he's riding with me. Since he doesn't go that often and is in the early stages of intermediate, a used set up is what we are shooting for. If he ends up really picking up the pace as far as progression and going more often than he does now, then he would look into something new and geared toward his riding style.

And someone mentioned geartrade, but I forgot to quote them...I actually found a great deal on boots. Same boots I have been riding (i found a great pair of boots for me, so i'm sticking with 'em!) that had been bought, tried on, then returned to backcountry - so I felt more than comfortable jumping on them. Now there's a smokin pyt on there for $280 that I would LOVE to have, however current bank account balance isn't allowing it. There are some good finds on there, but it takes a bit of digging.

fwiw its a great board, whether 6 year old tech changes that fact dunno??, believe what you will.

price is a bit high, considering I purchased a 2010 Operator in 2012 for about the same asking price in Norway.

If it was a 158 and you lived in Norway i'd be giving you a call, its one of my all time favorite boards...
