Exclamation STOLEN GEAR at Mountain Creek NJ....WTB I guess

Sorry if this isn't a proper place to post this.

Well it sucks and I know chances are slim to none, but I have nothing to lose. Someone ended up swiping my board when I put it against a rack right outside of guest services at Mountain Creek NJ today. I left it unattended no longer than 10mins or so but during closing so mad people walking out. I lost my keys there as well which is why I was at guest services. When it rains it pours and on Christmas Eve nonetheless.

Specs:
K2 WWW I believe 07/08 has the king of clubs on the top. Base is mainly black with WWW Weapon sideways on it similar to the newer WWW's only I don't have a picture of it and can't find one. i'll know it if I see it though.
Shitty grey and maroon drake bindings that resemble these

Was also wondering if it's worth filing a police report. And if it does happen to show up on ebay /craigs list (which I will be checking for weeks now)what I can do about it.

I'm just starting out I know this isn't an ideal set up and I don't need people telling me I'm a noob because this, that, and the other thing. I'm asking for help in tracking it down, and of course I will offer a reward to anything that helps me find it as an added incentive.

I guess I'm back in the market for a board/bindings before this season is over. So offer what you got. :/

Merry Christmas to everyone. This Forum helped me a lot.

Hey man, sucks about your gear gettin jacked. I cant believe some people these days, but anyways i would deffinatly file a police report, it cant hurt you. Id also monitor craigslist because alot of stuff on there is stolen. Make sure to spread the word around at that mountain, word will get around and you'll find out if anyone has seen it. Best of luck

theres not much you can do. if the person who stole it is dumb enough to list it for sale with the bindings, then call the police and show them the listing. unless you know the boards serial number, you will have no case if you find a random www for sale.

if you find one on craigslist that you suspect is yours, meet up with the seller and look for any marks or whatever that you will recognize, then get the police involved then.

Why would you suggest that the person belongs to this forum?

Thanks for the concern. I kno wit was stupid to leave it un attened exp[ecially at closing when people are leaving. I never woul dhave done it, I was out of it after losing my keys and the hassle it was it was the only thing on my mind.

checking out that listing but you already have a bid on it and I'm not much of a bidder (more of a need it now, buy it now kind of guy).

Another forum I'm on suggested the whole know the serial number and all which I didn't even think of.

I feel your pain. Last year was my first year a I bought a board. I live in NYC but I visit cali every winter and I left my board outside for less then 1 min. at Mt. High (equivalent to Mountain Creek) I turn around board is gone. Spent 1 hr looking for the board no luck. I was pissed bought a new board the next day cause I went to Snow Summit the next day. Now I always look for freeboard check and this weekend I had to buy a lock cause board check isnt open at night at camelback. Well good luck I have a 2007 149 burton board laying around if your interested? haha yeah I know it is short. but ill give it to you for 80 bucks lol
