I am selling my sisters snowboard. I'm in Vancouver and a buyer wants me to ship it to Toronto.

An obvious follow-up question for anyone interested in trying to solve your riddle of a problem: how are you getting the money?

The obvious answer to your predicament would be to take your board to the Post Office (or FedEx, or UPS, etc.) and ask them how much it costs to ship to Toronto.

I have no idea what postal rates are in Canada, but in the States, shipping a snowboard is a minimum of $30 because it is an oversize item. (this price assumes you already have a box to ship it in)

Get Paypal, seriously. Either that or have him send a check and you will send the board after the check clears if he will do it. Don't just send the board without having financial protection on your end.

Go to a local shop and see if they will give you an old shipping box that they won't be needing anymore, and go from there.

It would cost a fortune to package a box thru fedex or something.
