Here's the deal:

I'm sending the board from SoCal via UPS and insuring it at a value of $200 US Dollars. The quote from UPS was for about $50 US Dollars from US zip/postal code 90620 to Canadian zip/postal code J5A 2R5. Since this board was manufactured in Vermont USA, Canadian Customs states that only the normal/standard gst/pst use taxes will apply and, at $200, these should amount to about $10.

THAT IS ALL.

Kevin/Gingerbear can correct me if I have misstated anything...

UPDATE:

I just dropped off the board at the UPS Store. Because I cut up a small/medium cardboard box which I wrapped around the board's edges and tips for additional padding/protection before putting it back into the box that sierrasnowboard originally shipped it to me in, it weighed 12 pounds. It measured 63" X 15" X 3" and cost $42.93 US Dolllars to ship and should take about a week to arrive as long as there are no problems with Canadian Customs.

thats right... but heres a link for anyone who might need it with a little bit more details about the canadian customs taxes... hope it helps

Sierra is asking $299 for these boards now.

I will sell mine for $250 shipped anywhere in lower 48. I think I still have the receipt for warranty purposes, too.

Ridden for about 6 hours total, no damage. Only reason I'm selling it is because I'm trying to get my hands on a 160cm and I can't buy the 160 until I sell the 157

Joey I sent this as PM too just in case you don't check this forum again... Or, if anyone else is interested.

it's boxed up in the back of my jeep right now, making a stop at FedEx or UPS store (whichever is closer, I think) on my lunch break.

Already done with the X8?

Dude,

Bailing on the X8 already? That was fast...

Oh btw, I checked with the customs pro in the office and if the gear is made in the US, I just have to pay brokerage fees. Score!

Now I know Burton is made in USA. Must find out if Ride is as well. Also, Im debating on those high end Free ride Flow bindings to try for shits and giggles.
