It's towards the end of the season where most already have gear.... So they have to lower prices to move their stock or else it sits on the shelfs.

And some companies require minimum orders, who knows if this is an example of that.

Chances are the big sites like sierra, backcountry, evo, etc. over bought with the intent to get every nickel possible even if they have to heavily discount early. And ya that sucks, but it is what it is.... Until companies start producing less of each item, these sales will continue to happen and it will continue to throw off the late season exchange rate.

And triple8 knows as well as anybody else, you gotta price your shit fairly whether theres sales going on or not.
