Trip, how would you compare the flex to the evo, I think ibrecalled you saying it was slightly less stiff than the SL. That would lead me to assume definitely stiffer than the Evo.

I have been riding a 158 08-09 Evo and at my weight and foot size it is just a little to soft for me, so looking to get something a little stiffer. I will be considering the SL, agent rocker, dh2, and coda. The price on this is intriguing though and I have had good experience with Nitro in the past. Thx

If you really want something just a tiny bit stiffer, I think this would be a good option. It's still playful and fast, and at this price, not a huge risk.

I have one more question for you, if you don't mind. Why did you end up selling your Team Gullwing? I appreciate your detailed reviews and know that you have ridden the same Never Summer boards I have so I am curious as to why it left your quiver.

Thx for the help.

EDIT: if you really don't mind me asking, what is your height and weight? I noticed on another post you said "I have an NS SL-R 158 right now and love it for a daily driver. However, when I'm bombing with friends, I do wish I had just a little bit more tip/tail length and a little more stiffness" Having ridden a 158 SL i think it would help me put your TG review in context.

Got rid of it because it was just too similar to other boards I had at the time, like my NS SL-R. Also my friend wanted a new board, and it was the cheapest one I had at the time so I could hook him up more with that one. I ended up getting a Heritage after that, which worked out perfectly for me, and rode it exclusively at the end of the season. It's why I've pre-ordered a 2011 Heritage too, but not everyone has the same stats and riding style as I do, needing something playful but slightly on the stiffer side, most of the time.
