Rare Burton Gibson snowboard

Ultra Rare ! Very few were made as it was a promotional model
iDiom
Burton Gibson snowboard
From what I understand this was available only in Japan as a Burton promotional model. It was not made for Gibson.
Wood top sheet just like a Gibson guitar.
Mother of Pearl inlay for Burton logo.
Aluminium pick inlayed in base.
Notice the volume graphics on the mounting holes.
The really interesting thing is that it is made in Canada ?

Perfect condition. Never used or had binding mounted.

If anyone knows any additional information please contact me.

$300. U.S. or BO

Ok, normally I roll my eyes at threads like these and I don't own anything Burton, but goddamn that is one sick stick right there!

Hey, thanks.

Ya, it's pretty cool looking.

Damn that is sick. My size too! I wonder how it rides :P

That thing would get a ton of compliments and looks on the slopes.

I had it sitting here and wanted to try it out so badly but I just could not bring myself to it.
It's just too pretty.

I know how you feel. I'd be so paranoid of a skier jamming his pole into it at the lift line or some kid slicing it with his snowboard. Still, I want to know how it rides! LoL. Would bring a whole new meaning to Rocking Out on the Slopes.

I don't know. It's definitely set back like a mofo with a huge nose and tapered tail. Looks like a helluva pow stick to me!

If I had some money burning a hole in my pocket, I'd probably give it a go. I just currently have no desire to spend the money to add another stick to my pile.
