Hello all,
I'm located in San Jose and looking to start a long mountain snowboarding season. In the past I've only done rentals and I still feel like a beginner. I'd like the cost of the board + bindings under $150 and boots under $50. If you're located in San Jose we can do a deal in person. I'm 5'11 and 155 lbs and usually get fitted for a 156-160 board and size 10 boots. Thanks! EDIT: size 10 boots Last edited by gogetadbl; 11-21-2010 at 11:15 PM. |

$200 for a complete setup is going to be really, really hard to find. If you're willing to go up to $300 you might be able to find some lower-end stuff new:
Save on Board, Boot & Binding Packages - Mens Package Snowboarding Gear There is a lamar package at the-house.com for $329 and a few Rossignol packages for about $300 If you absolutely must keep it under $200 (I'm really hesitant to recommend any of theese) you could check out: MENS PKG DEALS, 3pc Pkg Deal Board-Boots-Bindings

I also noticed that wiredsport.com has some complete packages starting at $250, again these will be lower end stuff but new. Wiredsport is an active user on this forum so if you have questions about any of their package deals you can probably send him/her a private message and get some more info for your specifics.

Got a 2007 157 Rome Anthem and 2007 Ride Beta bindings that I would consider selling for $200 plus shipping. I'm down in LA so it shouldn't be too bad.
I wear size 12 thritytwo boots so the bindings should fit perfectly. PM me if you're interested. I attached some stock photos but can upload actual ones when I get home. They're in pretty good shape, just the usual wear and tear. This would be actually a great board to learn on and would be better than most of the junk rentals out there. |
