This 2010 Nitro Team Gullwing 159cm snowboard features Nitro's Gullwing rocker camber, which has rocker in the middle, camber underfoot, and rocker tip/tail. Nitro's Gullwing tech is very similar to LibTech/Gnu's C2BTX, Never Summer's RC, and Burton's Flying V. In case you didn't know, Nitro is based in Seattle, WA and this is one of the fastest boards I've ridden. It's very comparable to the Never Summer SL, Lib Skate Banana, Gnu Rider's Choice, Ride Machete, K2 Turbo Dream. Bought brand new at the end of last season, and only rode it 5x. Just had it professionally tuned including basegrind, hotwax, and edge tune so it's 100% ready to ride!
Retails for $450! SOLD SOLD SOLD Description: The Team series has taken the combined effort of our riders like Bryan Fox and Josh Mills to design a board that kills it year after year. The concept behind the team series was To build a lightweight do it all freestyle board that can handle any condition you throw at it. Turning it up a notch we have added our new gullwing camber for the ultimate combination of looseness and control. Gullwing camber amps your confidence for all terrain shredding from dropping cliffs in pow to switch 5's in the park. The Team Series captures pieces of every riding style and combines them into a jack of all trades snowboard. Catch pillow lines in the morning and lap the park when it gets chopped up. Take first chair to the peak and carve the corduroy on your way to the Stash. Everything is fair game with the Team. This board is stable at any speed, is responsive without being too catchy, and is not too difficult to ride. Plus, the new Gullwing reverse-camber design adds a whole new element of playfulness. This board is probably too aggressive for most beginners, but any solid intermediate or advanced rider should have no problem shredding this one around the mountain. Features: *BI-LITE LAMINATES: biaxial fiberglass for effortless turns and a forgiving flex *DUAL DEGRESSIVE SIDECUT: makes landings and takeoffs effortless without sacrificing powerful turns *GULLWING CAMBER: for the ultimate combination of looseness and control in all terrain *POWERCORE: tip-to-tail poplar wood provides strength and the perfect amount of board feel and flex *PROFILE TIP: tapered to disperse energy and reduce swing weight *SPEED FORMULA BASE: sh#%t’s fast, tough and low maintenance - life’s short, so haul ass Specs: Effective Edge (mm): 1200 Sidecut Radius (m): 7.3 Waist Width (cm): 25.2 Nose Width (cm): 29.4 Tail Width (cm): 29.4 Stance Setback (mm): 15 Shape: Directional Twin Flex Rating: All-Terrain Inserts: 20 More Specs/details here: Team Gullwing | NITRO SNOWBOARDS Review here: The Angry Snowboarder Blog Archive Nitro Team Gullwing with Raiden Blackhawks my take
