The Burton Mystery is Burton’s first stealth creation from the Craig Kelly R&D facility. For riders who know the history, the original Mystery Air carries special significance in Burton’s collaboration with the late, great Craig Kelly, and this all-new Mystery features Craig’s first unofficial graphic. The art may be a throwback, but inside its all high-tech, with micro-tuned ingredients and carbon blends that make it the world’s lightest weight board to date. It’s a bit mysterious, but rides snappy and surfy, and would make Craig proud.

Glossary:

Heli Features Package:
Exotic materials manipulated to evolve the state of the snowboard art.
Mystery construction:
It’s just that………a mystery. But you can bet it’ll be so advanced that even NASA will be jealous!
The Channel:
Offers the ultimate bond between board and binding. Compatible with any Burton binding, this simple channel lets you fine-tune your stance width with mm micro-adjustability, then dial in your toe-to-heel centring, while rotating your angles.
Flying V profile:
A springloaded blend of camber/rocker performance. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop and power through turns.
Directional shape:
Classic versatile shape designed to be ridden w/a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail, while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control.
Twin flex:
Perfectly symmetrical flex from tip to tail for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile regular or switch.
Ultrafly core:
Burton’s lightest ever core w/an engineered design that revolutionizes the strength-to-weight and performance that can be achieved w/a wood core.
Multizone EGD:
in 4 separate zones the wood grain is perpendicular to the core adjacent to The Channel – the area from which a rider’s power emanates – for ultimate strength and edge control.
Mystery Glass fibreglass:
Yup, this is a mystery too; a mystery so complex that Morse, Columbo and Miss Marples couldn’t work it out. You’ll just have to trust Burton on this one
Methlon base:
Highly durable and low-maintenance base exclusive to the Method. It provides blistering speed that lasts all season by using super slick Teflon.
Stainless Frostbite edges:
Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t.
Pro-Tip:
Tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Infinite Ride:
Burton exclusive tech allows them to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine to break it in.
