I have never boarded before and am looking to buy some bindings for this year. I have heard good things about Union Forces and Rome 390 bosses on the forum but am open to other brands. If you have some bindings at a reasonable price that you think would work for me send me a PM or just reply. Any input is greatly appreciated. I have a size 12 boot by the way. Thanks

This being the case. You really should rent a setup of borrow one from a friend (if possible) and actually try snowboarding out before you dive in and buy shit. Just because your friends like it or it looks cool on tv doesn't necessarily mean you will enjoy it. You may end up liking or being more comfortable on skis who knows.

When i rented a board i would always get burton Freestyle bindings. They are a great all around binding and really cater to beginners as well as intermediate so you can still ride them when you get better. They are at a good price so you don't have to pour all your money into your first binding. They are only $130.

Ive got a pair of Rome S90's, they are basically the 390s made for sierra snowboards.
I've used them all of 2 times (bought in may last season, and season ended early). Anyways they are 150 bucks plus shipping on trusnow.com. I'll sell em to you for 110 bucks shipped. These are great bindings man. |

I would rent but I already have a board. It is a 159 Ride Decade. I will look into those Burtons. I wakeboard quite a bit and a lot off people told me there are very similar mechanics. I just don't want something that I will regret buying halfway through the season. Still accepting offers. thanks
