Wow, as a person that makes his life savings from social/digital marketing, I can't even stand how ridiculous this is! Do you really not even glance over the forums or do ANY kind of research before you represent your company?

There are many examples of good company representation on this forum - even as an investor you have the ability to bring in strong revenue gains (I'm sure that was your original objective). Unfortunately, you also have the ability to destroy any possibility of positive reputation gains.

Being an un-professional asswipe to someone that people trust to put out an honest product review wasn't the best choice for your company. Just my opinion.

for some reason i feel like his buddy, the investor, is going to get screwed by backing this company when it releases its 2013/14 line. Especially if he has the same attitude as this guy.

His original post actually fell within the guidelines or I would have ashcanned it early on. This is all about his follow-up attitude. In cases like this, the mods basically pop some popcorn and sit back to enjoy the show.

Yah, I got caught criticizing BA for torching a noob trying to sell something shortly after I joined. To BA's credit he saw that I was a noob myself and ignored me.

I don't think there was too much problem with the initial sales pitch, but the OP did the interwebz equivalent of a stranger walking into a biker bar trying to sell some bandanas, quickly insulting one of the meanest bikers in the joint by suggesting he should drink less and ride more, and following that up by declaring that their whole bar sucks. Lucky for him, the worst he'll get here is verbal abuse and fewer sales.
