There is no negotiation on the price for face mask, unless you buy in bulk.
The guy(BA) has been snowboarding since the 1980`s and has been involved in the industry for at least 2 decades, has been directly involved in snowboard design and production.
Stop making assumptions about a person you do not know.
They make those to you just didn't look hard enough. Pretty sure I just got off the mountain for day number 33 and it's only December 2nd. Maybe when you have more than 3 posts schilling your shitty facemasks someone might take you seriously.
Could really care less when you got off the mountain, these face masks are the product of a sample production for a company that will release face masks as an accessory for the 2013/14 season. These are being sold as an alternative to being thrown away. stop being a peasant and do something with your life, instead of posting all day on a slow traffic forum.
Wow. Surprised everyone is piling on the OP, considering BA came into the thread and purposely shit on it by posting a link to a competitor. That's a pretty dick move for a for-sale thread in general, especially when it was unprovoked.
The OP could've reacted better (read: professionally), but still, god damn.
On a completely unrelated note, I'm about to buy a Phunkshun facemask.
Actually, (...and someone will no doubt correct me if I'm mistaken) but I believe there is a "sticky" on this subject. The OP's first post on this forum is a sales pitch??? THAT constitutes provocation!! (...it demonstrates OP's disrespect & disregard for this forum!!!)
BA, was being "gentle" in comparison to his response to some past "Troll's" I've read!
ps. ...I think those Phunkshun masks are "Sick" too!!!
Isn't there a better way of doing this whole "We don't appreciate noobs coming on here simply to sell a product" thing? It's gotten kinda tedious.
Yah, I got caught criticizing BA for torching a noob trying to sell something shortly after I joined. To BA's credit he saw that I was a noob myself and ignored me.
Can't someone just reply by pointing the "salesperson" to the sticky on selling stuff here? Or pointing out that we don't like people joining just to sell a product?

Shouldn't have to. On every forum whether it's coding or snowboarding or politics or whatever there are general rules and terms of use that are pretty clearly posted for anyone who's genuinely interested in not running afoul of established community. It's the poster's responsibility to seek these out and adhere to them otherwise he's acting like they either don't exist, or don't apply to him, or he doesn't GAF anyways.
It's not like these ppl are totally naive, innocent kids that don't know what they're walking in to. They're deliberately targeting a forum/online community - with no real intention of ever participating in or contributing thereto - merely to drum up a few sales.
The forum's reaction is akin to a door-to-door salesman who ignores my "no soliciting" sign getting the door slammed in his face.
Wow, as a person that makes his life savings from social/digital marketing, I can't even stand how ridiculous this is! Do you really not even glance over the forums or do ANY kind of research before you represent your company?
There are many examples of good company representation on this forum - even as an investor you have the ability to bring in strong revenue gains (I'm sure that was your original objective). Unfortunately, you also have the ability to destroy any possibility of positive reputation gains.
Being an un-professional asswipe to someone that people trust to put out an honest product review wasn't the best choice for your company. Just my opinion.
for some reason i feel like his buddy, the investor, is going to get screwed by backing this company when it releases its 2013/14 line. Especially if he has the same attitude as this guy.
