Delayed response to this - because I am actually out riding in Japan, instead of slinging shit on the internet.

To clarify some stuff:
I did not lowball the seller. How can I be lowballing him when I have not even made an offer yet?
And I was not trying to guilt him, either. Just giving honest information on my situation and what is out in the market.
Basically I just told him that I am interested in the bindings but not at his asking price, so whether he could lower the price. No sinister or evil intent here.

Warning to everybody about this seller. My friend won the ebay auction for the Unions and paid, but seller never shipped them. Instead he just send a refund and re-listed the bindings on EL. Be aware.

Looks to me like the ebay going rate they sold for wasn't enough money. Two pairs of MC's on geartrade free shipping mildly used for close to $200. Don't be greedy bra!
