WTB: Burton Custom Camber or Custom X - Alberta - Snowboarding Forum

Looking for a play/park board for those non-powder days! I've been using a T7 but don't want to ruin the thing.

I'd like a Custom or Custom X, 2010 and newer, with or without bindings. Size from 154 to 160 or so...

Let me know what you've got and how much you want!

Just an FYI, but i'm not sure a Custom X is what you want for park/play...that's more of an all-mtn board designed to bomb away on steeps and really carve - it's pretty stiff. The Custom could certainly do what you're looking for but I wouldn't recommend the Custom X.

Not trying to tell you what to do, just providing some insight as an FYI.

Yeah I e-mailed the guy (the Custom X guy) I'm trying to get it cheaper than that! I only paid $500 for the T7 a couple years ago.

E-mailed a guy with a Custom camber and Cartel bindings. He wanted $250 and I offered him less. He said price wasn't negotiable since he paid 5 times that! I said that paying $1250 for a Custom with bindings might not have been the best move. Don't think I'm going to get that snowboard!

I have a 97 Custon 164 (might have a couple of bolts through it on my bench) if youre interested!

Funny thing is I was thinking about getting a longer board like that and cutting the tips down so it's a blunted tip board.

well since its now a one of a kind...I think a cool $600 should seal the deal!

By that math, the '95 Kemper Freestyle I have sitting in the basement should be worth $1000!!!

Dude bite the bullet & buy the Restricted Custom Snowboard.

The Animal one comes in a 151 or a 158.

You aren't too big for the 151, I used to have one & I'm bigger than you.

It's only for park, the 151 will be more fun.

The 158 will be too similar to the other boards & not near as fun as the 51 would be.

What size was that Custom with the brand new C02 bindings I messaged you about just before you got here?

Probably should have snatched that up eh? $150 is less than half of just the bindings alone.
