Selling all my woman's snowboarding gear! Only used once! Selling all for 450

I'm selling my woman's snow boarding gear! I have only use it on the mountain once and it is only two years old. All was bought at the same time! I have a salomon snowboard with lotus bindings, the k2 boots to match, a pair of snowboarding goggles, and a sims snowboard case that holds it all.! All put together it is probably worth $900. And I'm selling it for $450! So half off, an only used once! If you are interested or want pictures! reply or message me!

What size boot and board, what model board, and where do you live?

when people use new usernames, ask people to pm them for flicks, and are generally vague regarding description, i assume (perhaps incorrectly) that it's stolen gear.

Now... in the gym thread I read that lots of you do weight lifting... could one of you PM this guy and check, and IF, show him, what you think about stealing a poor girls gear...?

I really thought quicksand was going to be a much bigger issue in my life when I was little

That's a pretty good point, Stan. Never occurred to me, I assumed his girl bailed on him. Thieves suck balls. I guess we'll see if there's a follow up post.

He has boots and goggles too. If the board was stolen I doubt he'd have the accessories.

well... if you want to get technical...

if you look more closely, it's written from a girl's point of view. most girls i know don't type like this, which is probably why you thought it was a dude. to be fair, it could be someone whos primary language is not english... to address your point, all the stuff comes with "a bag that holds everything." so i bet the shit was all in the bag. if this person bought the gear, why would they be so confused as to what all of it would be worth? it's be less fishy with, "i paid $900 for all of this new," rather than what was said.

After rereading it I think there might be something a little fishy to this but that's all just speculation at this point so I'm just going to stay out of this one.

FWIW, my initial take on this was that it was a guy whose primary language isn't english that is selling a gf's (or ex gf's) snowboarding stuff after it didn't work out for whatever reason.

That and the handle reads to me at least as "Ali luvs u 7871" Ali as in something like Alison not Ali as in Mohammed.

Also the part "I have only used it on the mountain once" made me think it was a chick posting but not necessarily that it wasn't stolen gear. Chicks can be thieves too.

What I find most odd is that the OP hasn't been back to this FS thread.
