Buy & Sell Guidelines

While we're not going to go all Nazi on you, there are some guidelines that will keep you out of trouble.

Thread title should contain: price, location and whether item is FS/WTB/PSA (for sale, want to buy, public service announcement)

Pictures, price, and year/age of item are highly recommended. Members can be loudly critical otherwise.

If you have to bump your thread more than once or twice, consider reducing the price. We all tend to overvalue our stuff and that's probably why you're not getting any bites.

Try to balance separate threads for separate items vs one thread to sell them all. You don't need 6 threads to sell 6 pairs of goggles, but you might want to separate clothing from equipment for instance.

There is a buyer/seller feedback thread stickied in the Buy and Sell Snowboard Equipment section. Please post your experience dealing with another member. Use this thread for both Snowboard Equipment and Non-snowboard-related equipment. We don't need 2 threads for this.

These subforums are for INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL SALES. No memberships, porn, ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or generally business or multiple-customer adverts. Check with us if you feel you have something legit and to the benefit of the forum. We reserve the right to unilaterally delete anything that we feel is inappropriate.

Last, and maybe most important, expect feedback from other members in your sales thread. You don't own the thread, you don't get to be the mod for your thread. If you are asking too much for your stuff, expect to be told in impolite terms.

ADDENDUM: We've noticed an increasing number of people coming onto this forum for the sole purpose of pointing to their ebay, kickstarter, or craigslist entry. Sorry, no. It's one thing for active members to point to something like that, but if that's your only purpose for coming here, we're not interested. Your ad will be removed and you will be banned.

Error 404. Coffee not found.

Snowboarding Forum also does not guarantee or imply any guarantee as to the honestly, condition, quality of items sold here. In other words, all items for sale on this forum are "Buyer Beware".
