So which good mountain in the West in the States would you recommend that has cheap flights available from say, Buffalo or NYC? I did a couple of searches and do not see anything significantly less than $500, often with stopovers.

Regardless of what he said, he said flights from YYZ to Calgary was $500 lmao... Impossibru!!! Stay east, if Quebec isn't your flavor go to Vermont

And, like Lil said, there aren't prices like that from east coast US to the Rockies at that price either, even with deleting cookies.

Don't blame me, I just hit Air Canada's website. I go out west semi-frequently (not just to board), so I'm always watching flight prices. $550 YYZ to YYC is pretty much the standard price, you can get down it to around $400 on seat sales.

That's not a round trip flight then. You can get cheaper prices for standby sure, and you might see those prices in the summer (maybe) but its not round trip. Screen Shot or it didn't happen. Besides I'd rather spend that $550 going with 5 friends to a 5 star less known resort in Quebec than spending that plus some on a flight alone. But I'm cheap lol

Not sure why I'm bothering when you obviously won't. As I said: $550ish round trip Toronto/Calgary is a pretty much everyday price.

If you shop in advance: you can do much better. I'll be heading to Vancouver in 3 weeks for $300 round trip

Yes January/February you can get round trips for $400-$600 from Toronto to Vancouver. You just have to book in advance.

I did, even though I'm dealing with my own shit that's why I called you out. So that flight your taking to Vancouver from Toronto? I hope they get some snow soon for your sake if that's what you are going for.

I see nothing less than $580 round trip connecting flights for that same week on the same website. Yes, if you shop for anything well in advance and don't need to have specific dates in sure one can find a decent price. Its not even AC either, its another charter flight on some crappy plane.

Like I said before, I'd rather go anywhere on a whim east coast for $580 all inclusive and do it in luxury rather than just spending that on a flight alone.

Edit: so no one saves a couple hundred bucks flying out west for that price

Not sure what you're doing wrong, sorry. I have it open on my desktop right now.

I'd rather ride some vertical, but to each their own

We got that much snow in 3 days here from the storm, enjoy your trip! You still didn't answer if your flying from YYZ though. Also, I didn't do anything wrong. Clicked the link you provided. Maybe its taxes or something... Though I'm on my phone timing contractions.

And as discussed before, there is some very to be had on the Ice coast, and extra 2 mins isn't much though one must leave Ontario. And that's spending extra cash than needed just on a flight!
