It was surprisingly awesome on opening day. 2 blues and 1 black run open, snow conditions actually very good, barely any lineups, cheap lift tickets, and they had the decency to NOT run snowmaking on open trails. Oh, and the glades between Smart Alec and Tranquility were set up really well, too. Unfortunately I have other obligations for Sunday, but must say they did a great job getting the trails covered in snow.

Damn, I forgot how hot winter can be, as I've been freezing in the city for the last month

Managed to get up there today.

The snow was alright, not terrible, but definetely a little sticky and wet.

Still a fun day

My brother and I were up this past Saturday, and had tons of fun. Hopefully they are open this weekend cuz of the mild weather this week. Cheers

A tree has both straight and crooked branches; the symmetry of the tree, however, is perfect. Life is balanced like a tree. When you consider the struggles, difficulties, and sorrows as a part of it, then you see it as beautiful and perfect. George M. Lamsa
