Default any Beginner terrain parks near Toronto?

Where are the best ones with the SMALLEST features for a beginner? I'm talking baby jumps and stuff for 8 year olds. I'm too old and scared to try the small features at a regular park.

Only Glen Eden in Milton comes to mind. You won't find small features out of the park (with the exception of a few bumps), but the trails are easy enough that you can get comfortable with your riding style, try a few small jumps, learn how to ride switch, work on your balance, before trying the park.

There may be some other options I'm not aware of though. Glen Eden has the advantage of being really close to TO.

Last time I was there couple years ago Dagmar had a baby terrain park with rails mere inches off the snow and itsy bitsy ramps. Great for kids and wimpy adults like me.

And me...

I was checking on line and I'm leaning towards trying glen Eden. I have a horseshoe pass so $20 for experimenting somewhere else is not too bad.

I need a ride on box. I don't want to show up at work on a Monday with a leg cast and a bloody mouth with all my front teeth missing.

I'm relatively new as well... Went to Glen Eden twice this season (Both times on weekends)... Opening day wasn't too bad, not many people, was raining though.

Second time I went, it was packed, full of children... So you're liable of getting in a few unexpected jumps as you plow over them.

The hill is kinda fucked though, at the top of the lifts you have to go uphill on most of them before you actually get into the run. And the runs are extremely short.

On the plus side, you can't really compete with their lift ticket prices, especially Mon-Fri, its super close to Toronto (about 40 minutes with no traffic), and their beginner area is completely free (if you can deal with hordes of children).

you think it's crowded all the time or just on weekends?

I would wager it's not crowded... I'll tell you later this week, if I go.
