Tremblant - early January, solo vs w/ friends?

I'm from Toronto and the weather here is unbelievably depressing. I don't think any of Ontario's resorts would open any time soon. So, I'm planning to go to Tremblant from dec30-jan3. Problem is the only friends I can go with are beginner snowboarders who wouldn't be able to accompany me on the blacks or the park.

On the other hand, if I go with friends we could party a lot especially since New Years party is gonna be live at Tremblant. Also, I wouldn't know what to do after 4pm when snowboarding is done. Fap at the lodge? Repeat until next morning?

What would you do in this situation?

look into Bromont too.. they have an insane deal for out of province riders..

$50 for two tickets with the SweetPass.

I try not to go to tremblant for 1) the crowds an 2) early closing time

but it is a fun mountain on weekdays with good conditions.
