Visiting my Office in montreal next week.
Is there any hill open close to Montreal?
any with Night Riding?
where can I rent?
Was thinking of bringing boots helmet and goggles, and trying to rent a board
Also check out St Sauveur, as its much closer than Tremblant. Night skiing is really big there. Spent many a night there in my youth!:snowboard1::drinking:
Mont st bruno is opening wednesday, pretty small hill(400 feet vertical I think) but it's 30 minutes from downtown montreal, night riding too, wednesday and thursday will have a special 1$ each ticket price that goes to a charity. Have fun!
Otherwise you have no choice but to go to mont st sauveur or tremblant as eastern townships are opening december 9th. If you have any other question just hit me up!
thanks for heads up
one of the guys in the office just said same. gonna shoot for Thursday night
what is rental . cost as i did not.bring board or boots
Right now Tremblant is the only real option in the region....I was there yesterday and they had 9 runs open, been getting a steady 5cm a day for the past few days, mostly windblown and groomed into the base...nothing spectacular but if you just need to get some turns in like I did thats your best bet...
And here's a tip if you dont feel like paying $100 a lift ticket for 9 trails: right now if you get on Kijiji or craigslist theres people selling 2015-16 lift tickets that expire Dec. 9...we paid $25 a lift ticket, just make sure they come with the red zip tie or they wont let you ride for some stupid reason
