Blue Mtn. - Dec. 10th opening - Snowboarding Forum

anyone planning on heading up for the opening day? I hope to, if not on the wknd (and depending on conditions), i'll take the day off on monday and check it out.

i got really excited when i heard the news...... i really want to go.. not sure if anyone else here is from the toronto area and wants to go as well

I live 40 minutes from blue. Hoping they actually open up that soon.

Snowmaking began as of November 28th and Season Open to December 9th for $19 (All Ages) if you don't already have a season pass or a 5x7...weather forecast is showing below 0 from Tuesday to Friday =)

Um what? Snowmaking started today and the weather is expected to be in the 40s and 50s until Tuesday of next week and then down to the 30's and high 20's.

I'm just reading off their site on their snow report, I don't live there to actually witness it or anything
and I'm currently using the Environment of Canada for weather http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/..._metric_e.html

i think wer='re talking about 2 different blue mountains here. aparently theres on in toronto as well as pennsylvania.

the PA blue is still snow-less im sure

he one in PA (Where I liev) Startyed making snow last night. most of our mountains did. Shawnee CBK and Alpine all started along with blue

Yeah I was talking about the one nearest to Toronto (where the thread starter is located) but I hope you guys get it soon too...I'm just really anxious now =p

still no 1 here going on opening day or around that time ?
