Condition @ Tremblant - Snowboarding Forum

How is the condition at Tremblant?
I am heading up there next weekend and was wondering how it's holding up.

What would be better for this time of the year; Tremblant, Sutton, Orford, St. Anne?..

Who's going to have snow left after this meltdown?

Ste-Anne : Pouring rain right now, closed tonight. Not sure it's worth the distance for you.

Sutton : Was crappy 3 weeks ago. They received like 50-60 cm last week. Should not be too bad

Orford: Going tomorrow. Will report.

Yah it was crazy icy up there on the East mountain (Giroux) a few weeks ago, I'd imagine it only got worse..

Worth going again this winter, Simon?

Even with free tickets I'm not sure I'd go...

Look for someplace else.

With the warmer temperature coming next week maybe it will soften up little bit

On the topic of Temblant .. I have been looking around and everywhere I read it says they don't have night skiing at Tremblant.

Can you guys confirm this?

If so, why don't they?

Little section south side used to. I am not sure if it still does. It's probably too expensive to light up the whole mountain. It'd too far from the city for anyone to show up from Montreal for nite skiing. And there are couple smaller hills in the area that have nite skiing (prob enough for locals). Tremblant is more of destination resorts so people go there for couple of days at a time (they can ski during the day) and on weekend people from the city show up. There are way too many hills with nite skiing around montreal for anyone to bother driving to Tremblant and back during the work week.
