Well in the spirit of getting amped before the snow falls, What resort/mountain do you think is going to be open first?
Toronto to Quebec City and even some resorts in Northern USA that are in distance. I have my money on St. Sauveur.. yah its small but they can make their own snow and have been since October 15th ![]() I've got to find something else to do before the snow hits.. I'm going stircrazy...

I'm on the border of Ontario,Quebec&NY but we always seem to get more snow than the Toronto area.
Of course Tremblant,Sauveur,Orford,Bromont,Jay Peak being 2 hours away as opposed to 8 for most is a nice bonus. This year I'm supposed to go to Blue though. Last edited by chronicsmoke; 11-06-2012 at 02:59 PM. |

at blue they have 50 more snow cannons and another pump that increased their water pumping capacity by about 10 per cent. Also some new tech that allows snowmaking at -2C instead of -6C so that will help some.
Somebody in another thread said MSLM was targeting Nov 30 but that seems optimistic to me. |

My money is on blue mountain or horseshoe valley... I better be able to get some time off this season to visit my gf in Collingwood so we can board together at blue... I see the hills everyday and they are somewhat white! I think it'll all go away this weekend though, supposed to get double digit temps in the mid teens boooo
