Default Cheap Motels around Tremblant?

Hey everyone,

Looking to try out Tremblant this year; we are coming from Ontario so we would like to stay for atleast a couple days for a full experience.

Staying in the village is out of question since we are on a budget. We are hoping there may be some affordable motels outside of the resort.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

been there twice and don't recall any motels right in the vicinity of Tremblant although there may be some places somewhat nearby. I have had great luck renting places through VRBO.com you might want to check there.

The last time I went to Tremblant (2009 I think) Tremblant's official website had a "last minute" deals section, kinda like Priceline they would tell you a general location, and a star rating, and the prices, but you wouldn't know exactly what building/complex you were staying in until you made the reservation. We ended up with a nice sized 2BR/2BA condo for $160/night, it was a somewhat long (albeit, manageable) walk home from the bars at 2am but it was on the shuttle route to/from the slopes during the day and well worth the discounted price.

There's some cheap motels in St. Jovite...10 minutes away, but definitely surf vrbo.com first.

If you're going on a weekend be prepared to wait in line though.. I'd go to Orford or Jay Peak if it was me, heading there this weekend actually

Yeah I'd skip Tremblant and head to Jay instead.

Last time I went to Tremblant there were some cheap motels in St. Adele we stayed in. I think it was about 25 mins from the hill or so.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

Normally I'd be all up for trying out some of the other resorts, but I got passes for Tremblant already unfortunately.

What do you guys type into VRBO for best results?

I have a group heading to Tremblant in 2 weeks. We're leaving from Woodbridge/Yorkdale. Trip included transportation, accommodation & 3 days lift tickets...What's your budget?? How many in your crew?
Since you've already got lift tickets, we may be able to work transport & accommodations for you...let me know.

I think there is a deal on groupon for 299. Not sure how many nights or how big the rooms are.
