Yup thats right guys. Blue Mountain is OPENING TOMORROW AT 9AM!!! Halleluiah! Too bad I'll be studying. If you guys have not already, subscribe to the new blue mountain news letter on their site.

On their facebook page, it says they are going to have only 3/4 trails open I believe (the ones by the main lodge). Terrain park will NOT be open until next week.

If you guys go, please be sure to let us know how it was!!!!

Hit up dagmar tonight only half the runs were open, but they had park features up and running which is the only reason i went. Hitting up blue early Sunday morning i doubt they'll have any park up they seem to be really lazy ever year getting even a rail in till late December. I'm going with a couple noobs anyway so just cruisin:thumbsdown:

We went up to Calabogie today for the opening weekend and although it was very wet the conditions on the hill were nice! Lots of snow and NO people. :) I would say there was about 20 cars in the parking lot. We had the lodge to ourselves in the afternoon during a warm up/ dry up break. There was 7 runs open and we all had a blast.

Went to Mt.St. Louis on Sunday. Snow was getting packed down pretty quick in the am. Snowed all day. Got better in the afternoon when the temps dropped a bit. Got my 1st timer pal doing blacks by the end of the day. Not too crowded. Junkyard was open and in decent shape. Good start to the season.

went to boler yesterday, December 17th, from 2:30-6:30, and walked onto the lifts pretty much the whole time, super icy conditions, no terrain park and the double dip was closed... but as usual the tiny natural jumps all over the place... good to get some turns in, but wish I was closer to a bigger hill!

I went yesterday at about 7 and yeah, it was mad icy. Had one spectacular bail out on 55 where I lost an edge on a patch of ice close to that orange building near the bottom and tweeked my ankle something fierce. Hopefully the wind is good tomorrow and I can do some kiteboarding in the fields of Chatham-Kent before my family Christmas dinner.
