Nobody is excited to see our own section for lil ole ontario and east.....
I dont remeber this much snow this early in alot of years.... Moonstone and Horeshoe have been open for weeks, Blues open, and the smaller places are opening up now too... Southern Ontario keeps getting hammered with snow... YaH! |

well this week is looking good for us folks in ontario...
3 little clipper storms are gonna roll through, then cold artic air coming in that should produce some lake effect snow... conditions have been pretty good around me, but we dont have anything big to ride in london area... was at glen eden a few weekends ago and it was pretty good. Hitting barrie area end of the month with some guys for a change of pace from the blue scene... were gonna ride horeshoe and moonstone that weekend. |

What's Moonstone like? I heard they have a wicked park. As far as Horshoe goes, it's just a tiny little bump. Like something you would slide down when you were a kid. I don't know... maybe there's some cool features or something?
I just went on opening day, when only a couple of runs were open. |

Ive never been to moonstone, but did ride horeshoe at the start of the season, it was mid novemeber i think... it was alright, some decent runs, but your right, its nothing huge, but we dont want anything too huge, were gonna be nasty hung over each day... and we did Blue mtn last year, so we kinda just wanna mix it up...
i know there is bigger hills, and better places to ride, but were just looking to have some fun, ride some snow, and drink beer, and harass women... you from the barrie area??? |

Naw. I'm in Toronto. I always ride Blue though. Have a pass there. Since I have to drive like two hours to ride around here, I might as well go to the bigger hill and make it worth it. I always ride alone too, so crappy little joints wouldn't be as fun for me (in the big picture, Blue's crappy and little too, but it's big for Ontario). Whereas, it doesn't really matter what hill you're at if you're with tight friends.
That said, have fun getting blasted and harassing chicks at Horseshoe and Moonstone.
