gnu b-nice, capita or head?
Hey guys. So here's the deal, I started boarding out on the east coast. Went maybe 5 times, moved out to Seattle and started playing on Baker, alpental, &crystal. So basically deep snow that I'm not used to.. but so much fun. I look like an idiot because I'm still learning how to handle the deep and ungroomed and I've always rented crappy boards and borrowed boots that were too big. I'm not incredible, I'd say intermediate.. but I'm in love with snow.
Now I've got boots and am buyig a board. I really love mervin boards and got on an old school gnu once and it was the best ride of my life. I've been researching.. and I'm thinking of buying the GNU B-NICE ( I want the b-pro with the original graphics but I think it's too advanced for me, let's be realistic)
Capita is another great company that I respect, but I hear their boards are "good" but not great. I've never eidden one and can't find demos anywhere but their company rocks, and there's the CAPITA LE TIGRE. It claims to be a beginner to intermediate.. and I'm wondering if anyone knows about it. Think it will be too soft? I'm thinking maybe the B-NICE is a better fit, even though capita has sick graphics. Maybe i could get better faster on a beginner board?
Meanwhile someone bought me a board. It's a HEAD PEARL. I know nothing about head and wonder if it's as good as a gnu. There are flowers all over it too which is hard for me to deal with, but if it's a good choice maybe I'll just keep it instead of returning it.
what do you think, head pearl, capita le tigre, or gnu b-nice? I'm not into any park yet, eventually will grow a pair and try.. but for now I'm looking for an all mountain nice ride I can grow with. I'd love any help. thanks
