Hey there! Just joined the forums, been boarding for about 10 yrs on a Burton I bought used 10 yrs ago. I think it's time for a new deck. I am 37yrs old, 6'0", and 190lbs. Price my last concern - I want to find the right board and haven't thought about it at all so I have a lot of learning to do... Here are my thoughts and questions:

How I ride:
I don't mess with terrain park. I am a blue course rider that seeks powder as often as I can find it. I ride at Copper Mountain mostly often with my 13yr old son and 10yr old daughter. I am not into jumping, tricks, moguls, etc. I like smooth sweeps and tight turns and POWDER

New boards that I have been looking at:
NeverSummer Raptor
Raptor/Raptor X | Never Summer Industries
NeverSummer Heritage
Heritage/Heritage X | Never Summer Industries
NeverSummer F1
Premier F1 | Never Summer Industries

I really dig the CO styling of the Heritage.

Questions:
Are these boards too technically advanced for me? (I don't even know what I mean by that)
What non-NeverSummer boards should I be looking at?
I don't see a weight / height guidelines chart on NS site to help me figure out the right size to get, how do I find that out?

thanks in advance...

I think I have narrowed my binding choice down to Drake Fiftys and Raiden R8s.

The Drakes are available at £100 for 2010 or £130 for 2011.
The Raidens are £150 for 2008/9.

Just about every review I have seen on the Fifty is good. The Raiden R8 was a special edition Phantom with Carbon Fibre high backs to increase stiffness. Only seemed to be produced for one year and reviews are few, but all good. I do wonder why they were dropped
so soon.

My ride style - cruising goomers/shallow powder. Freeride not Freestyle.
1 week per year. Intermediate. Not into Park/rails.

Any advice from the forum?

Hi everyone I just got the Salomon Dialogue 2011 boots and they are in size 11 and I was interested in buying the K2 Auto bindings and was wondering if I should get large which fits 8-11 or the XL which fits 11-15. Since I am buying online I just wanted to make sure that it that the large size wouldn't be too small for the size 11 Salomon boots. Yes, I know this is a stupid question but I'd rather be safe than sorry and have to ship them back and find out the hard way.

The box of the Salomons says:
US 11-11.5
UK 11
CM 29
EU 45&2/3

Hi!

I wanna get new bindings for my NS Legacy-R 174. Now i use Flux S.D.R. bindings and i find then vety soft. This model is similar to Flux Stream SF, but has the different highback. I'm about 6 ft. 5" and 220 lbs, and ride 90& freeride and 10% jumps since we got no park here in KZ. I ride for 5 years. My ideas about bindings are:
1. Ride Spi 09-10. Candidate #1.
2. Ride Nrc. I heard(on this forum) it's a bit softer then Spi? isn't it?
3. Rome Targa 09-10. Good enough, but..
4. Rome Targa 10-11. Canted footbeds seems to be tasty, isn't it? But it cost twice as Spi.
5. Union Force
===WHERE TO FIND?====
Ride CAD. Can't find any, if you got a a link, please provide.
Drake Podium. same as CADs. Interested, but i can't find.
Nidecker carbons - used in SBX, as Podiums, but i'd like to get such a stiff one.

As you can see the response and stiffnes is the main idea, but i don't want to spent lots of $$.

BTW: Foot size is US13, ride in Salomon Malamute boots.

Also i got a question bout canted footbeds. Does it really make sense or not? I meant some years ago none had it, and it was still cool to ride. Actually Spi got a precanred footbed, and it was well though.

All your comments on such a bindings would be very appreciated.
