Finally.

I spare you the reasons but today I went to te local SportChalet, to check if they had boards on sale, and found the one I had been looking at since last season, a 09 Arbor A-Frame, on sale for $540, with 50% off around 351, plus taxes back t0 399. I look at the board in the sun outside the shop and notice bindings marks, a shallow but long scratch on the base, and few nicks on the edges. Finally a more important bump on the tail and a pinkie sized depression on the base that reflects in a bump with a tiny crack on the top, and a dent on the nose, but just on the top sheet.

I convince the manager I was speaking at that point that the board had obviously been used, and she agrees on a final price of $196! That sounded very good to me and I took this beauty home.

The dip on the base: the sidewall is squeezed just a bit and there's a bump on the topsheet with a tiny crack.
