As for attire, I am 42 and started late in life and I wear the gear that appeals to me. I rock the 686 smarty Uzi pant on the baggy side and I love my Burton Ronin arctic snake skin jacket. It is the kind of set up that transcends fads and is "ageless".

The key to "pulling it off" is being comfortable in your own skin. If you are, you can wear anything; even the super gangsta park rat attire and no one will give you a sideways look (except old crotchety skiers who remember taking turns with Moses!) Being in your 40`s does not even remotely mean you should have to dress old.
