I just got this game a few days ago as a Christmas present. I know it came out a while ago, but I can never afford new games so I usually get them when they go platinum and drop to $30 or so.
I'm a massive zombie fan. Really over the top. When I have dreams about zombies, they are always good dreams. ![]() So when the movie version of Dawn of the Dead (you have to admit, it's pretty close) got made I wanted to play it. I'm really enjoying it, but I don't think I've ever played a game that was so HARD! I've never died in a game this many times. It's crazy. I really wish it were multiplayer though. Co-op in this game would be the GREATEST! Anyone else have it? Like it? |

Yeah, that and Oblivion were the first 2 games I grabbed when I got an Xbox last year. I loved it, but there were a few things that could have been done better: Like the fact the game's ridiculously hard until your in the 40's for level. My advice: either just stick out the first couple of games as long as you can so you'll get more exp at the ending, and worry about doing it well later once you're in the high levels. That or get a car and drive around in the tunnels for hours getting the Zombie Genocider achievement. Boring, but you get an acheivement, a crapton of exp, and (If I remember correctly) the gun from Megaman which lets you kill all the bosses easily. Makes the game kind of cheap, but the boss fights are the worst part anyway.
And I know I've said this before, but get Left 4 Dead. It's sweet. |

This game is great, but yeah it's incredibly hard. I just wanted to finish the story so I did the tunnel trick (It'll take awhile, like 3 days of average playing time (few hours I guess)) and the megaman gun made the bosses easy and fun
Just beat it a little bit ago, right before I got CoD5 and my xbox broke

I might try Left 4 Dead. I didn't care for it too much when I played the demo, but the demos aren't always very telling. I got a year Live subscription for Christmas so I might check it out if the multiplayer is good.

I have to say, the save system in this game is the worst I've ever experienced. It's so frustrating that you can't have at LEAST 2 saves.

An ex of mine was video game junkie. He got me hooked on Soul Calibur. That is like the only video game I know, or know how to play. That said, zombies are fun. I might have to convince another video game friend to pick this dead Rising thing up. Sounds like fun.
