Skate 2 - Snowboarding Forum

im a little dissapointed i am the first to start this topic when its aleady been out a couple days, but discuss. skate 1 was such a sick game and i will be getting skate 2 this week for sure.

I bought it today. pure sickness. handplants, footplants, steezy grabs, you can get off your board, etc, etc...

Skate 1 was great for 2 or 3 weeks, then it got old. The controls were awesome, totally something new and it made doing tricks a lot more fun, but eventually, I don't know, it just turned into another Tony Hawk or whatever. Not many games keep my attention for too long unless it has online multi player or a sports game with a franchise.

skate was awesome. my buddy had it. loved it. then he traded it in. i'm planning on getting a console sooner or later so i can get it. hope skate 2 is just as good.

skate is the only non-online game in years that has kept my attention lol..not even sports games do it for me and im a huge huge sports fan..especially since i enjoy playing my own season, yet playing the computer is boring...

skate did have online mode.. but it was kind of bootled =(

Yeah i'm looking forward to getting it once my xbox gets back from MS. The damn thing RROD a week before the game came out! it will be fun, the biggest thing that annoyed me in the first skate was getting over those damn curbs! it will be nice to just get off and walk, like it should be

I love it!
It's better than Skate even though Skate was amazing

Great game, love the new city, but it was too easy, finished single player so quickly.

So far the game has been sweet. But there is one big downfall to this game and that is that it eats controllers as did the first skate.
