I hated the competition/terrain park sections in Stoked. They would have been fun, but apparently the park didn't agree with the game's physics engine. I'd always end up getting stuck in a wall, then glitching out of it, and ruining 2 good runs by having one terrible glitched one.
That was my main problem with the game. That and the game always picked the worst possible angle for still photos, my scrap book is filled with pics of my leg, or close-ups of the bottom of my board. Oh, and Travis Rice being 3000x harder than any of the other challenges. |

If there is a way you could model it after the Nintendo Terrain Park at Whistler Mountain that would be incredibly sick. It would be sweet for riders that have been there and it would give the rest a little insight on what it is like to ride the world's premier shred mecca.

You should deffenantly have a designasted park area (not just random jumps scattered around)with a handful of features, especially a half pipe. You could maybe even throw in a J bar so a player could get back up quickly and easily. But one main thing that needs to be done is make it so the jumps are the right size in scale to how much air a player gets so you dont over shoot every jump like in SW snowboarding.

LOL Whistler! I have heard this mentioned over the years...."BRING WHISTLER" and I have yet to see this place in a snowboarding game (BC SW close?) when its as good as those who mention it to be. This is assanine for this NOT to be done. Well, that settles it, I'm pushing for Whistler to be in the sequel so those that haven't gone or can't go, can see what this place is all about. I'm dying to know myself! Big Air will have jumps that are better placed around, along with the trees/rocks. The mtns are the same, but they won't feel the same having a different layout than what is in Stoked |
